My path in photography began with an old 35mm Canon A-1 and a gruff Vietnam War Combat Cameraman named John McCoy. Those early days shaped my entire approach to photography. Mr. McCoy insisted I understand every piece, every function, every possibility within a camera before taking a single shot. Under his guidance, I learned to see the world through a photographer's eyes, discovering how light, shadow, and perspective come together to tell powerful stories.

This foundation in precision and technical mastery has guided me through a career documenting everything from intense military operations to precious family moments. Each image I create carries the influence of these early lessons, combining technical excellence with an authentic appreciation for the moment at hand. My lens has captured the determined focus of soldiers, the raw emotion of couples beginning their lives together, and the pride of local businesses building their community.
